DESIGN FUGITIVES
This work was created with Design Fugitives, a Milwaukee-based design collaborative. The work was proposed to the Lawndale Community for a new health complex in Chicago. The plans were digitally rendered by Ryan O'Conner and Kevin Talbott and then redrawn and painted onto wooden panels by Barenz.
The image "Mind and Matter" was created for the thesis presentation presented by Paul Mattek, a recent graduate of the School of Architecture and Urban Planning at UW-Milwaukee.
Barenz has continued to collaborate with Paul at Design Fugitives, where he is a co-owner. His photography of architecture has also been integrated into her work including "Placescapes: STL to LGA" and the series "Take 57 to 43 to 94."
