Unfolding Home is a series of original mixed media paintings that explores how memory, time, and transformation shape our emotional connection to place. Rather than depict literal locations, these paintings reconstruct emotional geographies: impressions of cities, homes, and landscapes that continue to resonate long after I moved through them.
Each painting in Unfolding Home offers a quiet meditation on how we inhabit spaces—and how those spaces, in turn, inhabit us.

In a world where nothing stays the same, our surroundings teach us to live with change—to find meaning in transformation and the places that shape us.
My work explores how our environments quietly shape our inner landscapes. Using a layered mixed media process, I create paintings that reflect the emotional architecture of place—drawing from sketches, textures, and travel photography to form a visual language that explores memory, transition, and connection.
As John O’Donohue wrote, “Landscape is not all external, some has crept inside the soul.” My work lives in that threshold—where the outer world and inner life continually shape one another.
