Shipping Details 

PACKAGING FOR ORIGINALS

Paintings are wrapped in glassine and bubble wrap and boxed for shipment.

PACKAGING FOR PRINTS

Fine art prints larger than 11x14 inches will generally ship rolled in a tube, and prints 11x14 inches and smaller will usually always ship flat. However, depending on the quantity of prints, paper density, and shipping location, we will decide what we think is the best way to ship. Framed prints are wrapped and protected in the appropriate-sized shipping box to protect them from damage.

TRACKING

Once your order has shipped, tracking numbers will be automatically emailed to the email address associated with your account. Customers who plan to pick up their order at Stephanie’s studio in Madison will also receive email notifications.

LOCAL PICK-UP

Local pick-up is available at Stephanie’s Studio in Madison, WI.  Choose “local pick-up” at checkout, and shipping costs will not be applied. You will receive an email to arrange a pick-up time.

DOMESTIC

We ship with either UPS or USPS within the continental United States. A shipping rate will be applied to your order at checkout. These rates are slightly higher for Hawaii and Alaska. If you spend over $300 and live in the continental USA these shipping fees are waived. 

INTERNATIONAL

Shipping rates are also applied at checkout if shipping outside the USA. If you spend over $400 these shipping rates will be waived. Please note that we cannot track any package after it leaves the United States and are not responsible for lost or missing packages. If you would like to ship internationally using an alternative carrier that includes tracking, please select the “International Shipping With Tracking” option at checkout, and the amount will be added to your order.

You may be required to pay customs fees or VAT determined by the designated country.

SHIPPING OVERSIZED ARTWORK

If your order includes a stretched canvas, frame, or any other rigid material that is over 1729 square inches, it may not be able to be shipped outside of mainland USA due to oversized shipping rates. 

PRINT PRODUCTION TIME

  • Rolled Canvas: 5-6 business days to complete before shipping.
  • Paper Prints: 3-5 business days to complete before shipping.
  • Framing: 8-15 business days to complete before shipping.

Return Policy

RETURNS

All paintings, prints, products, gift cards, and sale items are final sales.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please let us know so we can help. 

All goods must be checked upon receipt.

Please contact us at stephaniebarenz@stephaniebarenz.com within 10 days of receipt if you have any questions about the products you have received as we place the highest importance on supplying all orders correctly.

ARTWORK ARRIVED DAMAGED, WAS NOT DELIVERED, WAS LOST, OR STOLEN

We are not liable for any mishandling or failed delivery by the shipping service (USPS, DHL, UPS, domestic or international). We are also not liable for any damage incurred post-delivery. The fine art printers we work with package each order with care in sturdy flat mailers and tubes so that it arrives undamaged. Please handle your new artwork with care when framing, stretching, and taking your art out of its packaging tube.

However…

Damaged Prints:  If you think your print was damaged while being printed we are happy to handle this on a case-by-case basis with individual collectors who are able to provide details and documentation of the damage. Please take a photo of the damage immediately and send it to us at stephaniebarenz@stephaniebarenz.com.

Any damage caused during shipping must be handled with the carrier. Please photograph and report to the carrier immediately.

We are unable to replace for free any prints damaged after delivery.

Not Delivered / Lost / Stolen: If your package is marked “Delivered” and did not arrive please check your confirmation email to see that you put in the correct shipping address. We are unable to replace any print order for free if the shipping address is incorrect. If the address is correct and you believe your package to have been lost or stolen, you must contact the shipping service personally. Unfortunately, there isn’t anything we can do on our end, so we are unable to address any failed delivery or theft issues directly.

If a package cannot be delivered and is returned to our studio, we are happy to reship it but we ask that you pay for the additional postage. We are unable to reprint any order for free that has been not delivered, lost, or stolen.

Replacement Artwork / Returns: We will ship your replacement artwork and/or issue a refund only after receiving your return + communication via email.

UNSATISFIED WITH THE COLORS OF THE PRINT

Please take the time to read the descriptions carefully and check the colors on multiple screens if you are concerned about color variations. Our fine art printers work hard to make sure the color that is represented is a good match.
