    What materials do you use?

    I am a mixed media artist, and my work incorporates a wide range of materials and processes. Depending on the piece, I may use acrylic paint, graphite, photography, printmaking, collage, wax, pastels, and other mixed media techniques. Each body of work develops its own visual language through experimentation and layering.

    When will new work be available?

    How will my order be shipped?

    Do you offer framing for prints?

    Can I return my artwork?

    I want every collector to have a wonderful experience purchasing my work. Because each piece is carefully prepared for shipment, all sales are final. Please review my Shipping & Returns page for complete details.

    Can I order a custom-sized print?

    In some cases, yes. Availability depends on the specific artwork and printing process. If you're interested in a custom size, please email me at stephaniebarenz@stephaniebarenz.com, and I'll be happy to let you know what options are available.

    Do you accept commissions?

    Yes—selectively. I accept a limited number of commissions each year when the project is a good fit for my artistic practice. Commission pricing begins at $2,000 and varies based on size and complexity. If you'd like to discuss a commission, please contact me at stephaniebarenz@stephaniebarenz.com.

    Do you offer wholesale?

    Yes. I offer a wholesale line of my fine art prints. If you're interested in carrying my work, please email stephaniebarenz@stephaniebarenz.com, and I'll provide wholesale information and pricing.

    Do you exhibit in galleries and other venues?

    Yes. My work has been exhibited nationally and internationally in galleries, museums, universities, and art centers. You can view my exhibition history on my Exhibitions page. I also welcome inquiries regarding future exhibition opportunities.

    Do you work with art consulting firms?

    Do you collaborate with organizations and businesses?

    Absolutely. I enjoy collaborating on projects that align with my artistic practice. Past collaborations have included architects, schools, nonprofits, local and national government organizations, musicians, hospitality groups, corporations, developers, and fellow artists. If you have a project in mind, I'd love to hear from you.

    What is your professional background?

    I am currently the Gallery Director at Overture Center for the Arts in Madison, Wisconsin, where I curate, manage, and oversee programming for five galleries.

    In addition to my curatorial work, I have taught art in a wide range of educational settings since 2008, from preschool through postgraduate education. My teaching experience includes public and private schools, international schools, colleges, universities, art centers, and museums. I have also taught workshops and given presentations throughout the United States as well as in Taipei, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and other international locations.

    Who took the photographs on your website?

    Unless otherwise noted, photographs on this website were taken by me or by Emily Alyse Photography, Doris Lyu, Ethan Chang of EA Photo Academy, or San Mei Photography.

    Who owns the copyright after a painting is purchased?

    The purchase of an original artwork does not transfer copyright.

    I retain all copyrights to every artwork I create, including sold and commissioned works, unless copyright has been transferred through a separate written agreement. This includes the right to reproduce the artwork in prints, publications, licensing, and other media.

    Collectors may not reproduce, publish, or commercially use images of the artwork without my written permission.

    If my artwork is featured in a publication, article, or other media, I kindly request that it be credited to Stephanie Barenz with a link to my website whenever possible.
